CLAY

 Crack my skin open.

Let the soft and fragile be touched by light.

Peeling slowly what needs to be renewed, transformed, let go of.

Once you stay still long enough, the state of matter changes; rigidifies.

Immobility is painful, and so is motion. Yet immobility is not sustainable.

As I stretch to create space within, I try to let the discomfort be.

This is what shedding feels like.

It’s a long, slow and gentle inner journey toward expansion.

Shedding

It is not something you seek.

It happens.

Moving through or endlessly resisting.
