Embodiment, attention, intention.
Since 2011, my artistic process has been involving the combination of dance with my love for nature, my fascination for altered states of consciousness as well as my desire to understand the human experience. I create visual poetry by combining performing art and visual art, anchoring the process in my own body.
Connecting with the world around me & to places within myself is what my artistic journey is about. It’s a tale about nature’s beauty, attention & presence. Seeking a state of openness allowing to be transformed & allowing to be moved.
Timeless is a quest to touch both my own essence & the sublime. A moving journey of anchoring oneself in reality while transcending it.
Through movement, I explore the complexity and ambiguity of what lies in the details, the transitions and the in-betweens. Immersing myself in the environment, I connect with it and discover what emerges from this moment of interaction. Each matter has its own characteristics and informs the course of the performance. But all of them touch on the concepts of transformation, impermanence, connectedness, and in-betweens.
